About
Stephen Walker didn't set out to be a recording artist — he set out to be honest.
Raised in Katy, Texas in a home where music was just part of the air, Stephen spent his formative years watching people around him pursue their passions without apology. Mentors like Wayne Kerr and Jimmy Needham showed him early on that a life built around music and faith wasn't just possible — it was worth it.
Over the past twenty years, Stephen has led worship, written songs, and shown up for his family as a husband and father. Most of his music starts the same way: as a conversation between him and God. Not the polished, everything-is-fine kind — the real kind. The kind that admits doubt while still reaching for hope. The kind that sounds like King David more than a highlight reel.
His debut EP, The Reverie Volume 1, is that honesty put to music. It's about life and faith, struggle and grace, the hard work of believing when believing is hard. It's not worship music in the traditional sense — it's something more personal than that. Songs for the tension most people feel but rarely say out loud.
Stephen lives in Houston with his wife Heather and their kids. When he's not writing or leading worship, you'll probably find him in the Heights — at a coffee shop, a guitar shop, or a live show.
The music is out now on all streaming platforms.
